The IFPAS Toastmasters Club takes place at:
Venue: 7 Hong Kong Street, IFPAS Building, Singapore 059650
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Date: Every first Monday of the month
Meetings consist of the following:
A Table Topics session, giving members the opportunity to participate in impromptu speech situations.
Prepared speeches, based on projects from the Communications and Leadership Manuals, from several of the Club members.
An evaluation session, during which each speaker is provided with valuable feedback regarding the strengths of the speech, and provided with information that will assist the speaker in problem areas.
A critique of the evaluations, and of the meeting as a whole, by a general evaluator.
A short business session, which gives members a chance to practice parliamentary procedure.
Besides speaking, each member will also have the opportunity to serve as Toastmaster Table Topic Master, Evaluator, General Evaluator, etc. Each assignment is rotated among members to provide a variety of experience.

The first manual every toastmaster works through is the Communication and Leadership Manual that contains 10 speeches. They are:
- Speech 1- The Ice Breaker
Introduce yourself to your fellow club members
- Speech 2- Speak with Sincerity
Convince the audience of your earnestness, sincerity and conviction
- Speech 3- Organise Your Speech
Organise your thoughts into a logical sequence
- Speech 4- Show What You Mean
Learn the value of gestures and body movements
- Speech 5- Vocal Variety
Explore the use of voice volume, pitch, rate and quantity
- Speech 6- Work With Words
Select precisely the right words to communicate your ideas clearly and vividly
- Speech 7- Apply Your Skills
Bring together and apply all the skills learnt in the previous assignments
- Speech 8- Add Impact To Your Speech
Learn the value of props in speaking
- Speech 9- Persuade With Power
Persuade the audience to adopt your viewpoint
- Speech 10- Inspire Your Audience
Understand the mood and feelings of your audience
