AFC Designation Application fee (inclusive of 7% GST)
Only those who satisfy the criteria may apply for the AFC Designation.
All applicants must have at least 1 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
All applicants must be IFPAS members.
Validity of the AFC Designation
The AFC designation expires every 31 December of the year. The renewal date of the AFC designation shall be on 1 January each year.
Holders of the AFC designation must accumulate 20 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) over a 2 year calendar period to be eligible to apply for the renewal of the AFC designation. Credits are given for attendance at approved seminars and courses that cover all aspects of financial planning. These must be undertaken 12 months prior to the date of the renewal.
In addition AFC designees are required to complete either an Ethics programme or equivalent to be eligible for first year renewal.
A renewal fee of S$40+GST at prevailing rates must be submitted with every application for renewal.
Renewal for the AFC designation will be accepted only in January.
