IFPAS Charity Golf Tournament ♦ IFPAS Charity Golf Tournament

Speaking, learning and moving are things you and I do daily without a second thought. We forget how we learned them and just take them for granted. There is a group of children however who were born differently. To do what most children do with ease, they need a lot more help and practice. You can make their day by joining us in the coming IFPAS Charity Golf Tournament.

The beneficiary this year will be Rainbow Centre Singapore. Established in 1992, Rainbow Centre Singapore is a registered charity with the Registry of Societies and granted the Institute of Public Character status (IPC000298) under the Charities Act. With a mission to enhance the quality of life for children with special needs through education and training, the Centre runs two special education schools and two early intervention centres at the Rainbow Centre Singapore - Margaret Drive School campus and Rainbow Centre Singapore - Yishun Park School campus.

In uncertain times like this, our contribution will go a long way to help these children and their parents, some of whom come from less privileged families, get that extra help they need to speak, learn and move like us.

Ms Adelina Koh, a financial practitioner says, ‘Having volunteered as a teaching assistant at Rainbow Centre Singapore - Margaret Drive School, I remember my immense joy when the little boy I was helping finally began to walk on his own. He may have taken two years longer than a typical boy but he was no less cheerful and wanted to play like everyone else. Another five-year old boy came into the program with multiple disabilities, both physically and mentally. However within six months, he made so much progress, he qualified for mainstream kindergarten, thanks to the collaborations between his parents and teachers. It was gratifying to know that though his father had to earn less by spending more time with him in school, it was worth all the effort in the end.'

How would you feel knowing that these children can now live a better life because YOU made a difference to them?

GATHER YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY & CLIENTS and join us. Leave your footprints in these children's lives. Together we can make this difference!
