Paul Chan

Paul Chan is a distinguished professional with an impressive career in the finance and insurance industries spanning over four decades. He has been an active member of the ICSB International Certification & Standards Board since 2009, serving as its Chairman from 2014-2018, and remains an involved member.

With a strong educational background, Paul is an Institute of Banking & Finance Fellow and holds an MBA, CLU, ChFC, and FChFP. His expertise and passion for education have led him to lecture on FChFP in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia, significantly contributing to the development of financial professionals across the region.

As a dedicated leader, Paul is a Past President of the Insurance & Financial Practitioners Association of Singapore (IFPAS) and has been instrumental in shaping the industry’s landscape. His commitment to excellence is evident in his long-standing relationship with Great Eastern Life, where he currently serves as a Director of Financial Services and an Associate Trainer, overseeing a team of 40 associates.

In addition to his professional achievements, Paul is deeply committed to social causes. He serves as Chairman of Hagar Singapore, an NGO dedicated to supporting women and children who have experienced extreme abuse and trauma. He is also a Board Member of Hagar International, contributing his expertise to support the organization’s global initiatives.
